ABOUT SOUND WINCHESTER
Sound Winchester is a celebration of the diverse and vibrant range of creative musical talent in our city. Collectively it aims to improve wellbeing from the making and showcasing of music and voice activities.
During 2024, Sound Winchester will provide opportunities and events for everyone to try something new, to learn from others and to collaborate. Equally welcome along are those who prefer to listen to others making music together. Sound Winchester is for everyone.
Our recent focus was to promote all the wonderful music events / activities already taking place in Winchester on Make Music Day (Fri 21 June) and during the following week. Maybe this can be an annual focus? #soundwinchester. See Make a sound Winchester! - Make Music Day
Our next focus will be on showcasing our local talent again as part of the Winchester Christmas Market Community Stage in December and another event at The Arc in February 2025. More details will follow soon.
If you would like to help in making these things happen, please get in touch or come to one of our advisory group meetings at The Railway Inn on the 2nd Monday evening of each month.
